Hello and welcome to the exciting world of the Pink SEWING Bus, I am Miss Libby Rose (sewing teacher, designer & maker) I’m so very excited to be working alongside Hobbycraft, Janome, Cricut & Mettler to bring to you this travelling sewing workshop. Come along and join me on a Festive Sewing Workshop this December:-
The bus will be visiting Hobbycraft Stores across the UK to showcase the wonderful world of sewing and all the fantastic makes that you can do especially using Fat Quarters – there is more to fat quarters than you think! The ‘PINK SEWING BUS’ will visit 2 Hobbycraft stores a month. These visits will usually happen on a Saturday, Sunday or if in School Holiday time the occasional weekday. See the calendar page for more details when the bus will visit a store near you!
The spectacular vintage inspired ‘pink bus’ Citroen H Van is opening its doors to the public offering workshop based classes for Adults & Children. The workshop inside the bus is ready to go as a totally self-sufficient space with sewing machines and projects, all we need is you!
Aside from offering workshops outside Hobbycraft Stores, the bus will also be visiting High Streets, Community spaces, Events & festivals throughout the year. Working with the Arts Council, these workshops will launch July 2016. Keep an eye on the Calendar & Facebook page for when the Pink Sewing Bus will visit you!
Miss Libby Rose and the Pink Bus is also available to HIRE!
Kids Birthday Parties & Hen Parties are a specialty … so if you are planning a party or event do get in touch via the Contact page.
The Pink Sewing Bus was born out of a love of stitching, visual arts, creative flow and helping others to grow, learn, flourish & be all that they can be. I have been teaching Sewing & Creativity Classes for almost 10 years and taught to a wide variety of people from training my own staff and others in creative business to teaching children the first steps of stitching, sewing on the machine, weaving & embroidery. Adults from all walks of life. I am always very ‘present’ in my teaching and this often will start the ball rolling to inspire an infectious love for sewing.
